How soon can I start receiving assignments? Upon hire, we will contact you as soon as a suitable assignment becomes available. Our assignment database updates based on the needs of the organizations that we support.
After I am hired, how will I find out about positions that match my experience and skills? As positions become available, a SPARKS representative will contact you to discuss opportunities. Employees are also encouraged to maintain contact with their preferred branch office.
If I am offered a position that does not meet my interests and/or availability, will this disqualify me from being considered for future assignments? No. One of the benefits of working with SPARKS is choice and flexibility. Employees have the option to decline assignments that do not meet their expectations. We ask that employees only accept assignments to which they can commit for the entire duration.
How will I be paid? SPARKS employees are paid on a weekly basis by submitting their hours worked for each assignment via electronic or paper time card. Contact your SPARKS representative for details.
What if I accept an assignment that does not meet my expectations? Prior to commencement of an assignment, SPARKS will provide you with as much information as possible about the company and duties you will be performing. In the event that your expectations are not met, we ask that you contact your SPARKS representative to discuss this matter.
What if I am interested in a full-time position at a company where SPARKS has assigned me? If you should become aware of a full-time opportunity that interests you, please contact your SPARKS representative. When appropriate we will advocate on your behalf.
